Why training the Respiratory System is important? The respiratory system is mainly composed by respiratory muscles, as any other muscle of the body you need to train it specifically in order to support the rest of the body muscular systems. In this case, the way you breath provides the "FUEL" for your body and the difference between breathing wright or wrong can differ between for example a very high octane vs a very low octane fuel if you compare it with a car. It is also very important how to dosify and regulate that fuel. Understanding and applying this, is the key to unlock Mental, Physical and Physiological performance.
